Classification and degrees of premature ejaculation

When we talk about premature ejaculation, we’re talking about the most common sexual dysfunction in men, since it currently affects more than 35% of men around the world, and more than 75% admit that at some point in their lives they have had some episode of premature ejaculation for a short period of time.

Premature ejaculation is an expulsion of semen which occurs in an uncontrolled way and earlier than desired by the man, who is unable to have complete control over his ejaculatory function.  Sometimes the lack of control is so significant that it occurs before penetration. Premature ejaculation varies between the first and the second minute from the start of the erection.

Premature ejaculation is not something which endangers the health of the affected, but it must be treated so that it does not affect the patient in a psychological way, since the failure to complete sexual relations can have very serious mental and even social consequences with respect to their partner, because if optimal ejaculation is not achieved, emotional frictions can arise as a result of a lack of pregnancy or even emotional breakdowns.
